  • Who should one talk to about volunteering?
    The SETCH Program Director, Wendy Collins.

  • What are the requirements for becoming a volunteer?
    Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. No horse experience is required.

  • Where can one get information on starting a therapeutic riding program or becoming a certified instructor?
    Contact North American Riding for the Handicapped Association at 800-369-7433 or visit their website at www.narha.org.

  • How is SETCH funded?
    Half of the operating expenses are derived from the "Cowboy Ball" Benefit Dinner/Dance held in July. The balance of funds are from grants and individuals.

  • How much does it cost?
    There is no charge to participants.

  • Who is eligible to participate?
    Any individual with a physical, mental or emotional challenge that receives a referral from a teacher, therapist, social worker or doctor.
