Drifter was a pony horse on the race track. His owner, Frank, enjoys taking him on trail rides in the Wood River Valley. Drifter is loaned to the program and has become a wonderful therapy and beginner riding horse.

Our special therapy horses work hard, always offering patience, strength, and understanding to our students without asking anything in return. They all receive the best care to ensure that they remain healthy, happy and comfortable. Between veterinary care, routine maintenance, hoof care, feed and supplements, the cost for one horse for one year exceeds $3,000.
