providing a unique form of therapy and recreation through use of the horse

Henry

Henry was born and raised in Idaho.  His first owner drove him in a team to plow snow, and rode him around the ranch.  He has always been kind and eager to please.  He will do anything asked of him.  He has become one of our hardest working horses.  He was purchased for Sagebrush in 2007 with a donation made by the Deer Creek Fund.  He carries most of our physically challenged adult riders, and because of his smooth trot he is the best beginner walk, trot horse.

Sponsor a Horse

Our special therapy horses work hard, always offering patience, strength, and understanding to our students without asking anything in return. They all receive the best care to ensure that they remain healthy, happy and comfortable. Between veterinary care, routine maintenance, hoof care, feed and supplements, the cost for one horse for one year exceeds $3,000. Please let us know if you are interested in sponsoring a horse for one year, or contributing to the cost of their care.

If you sponsor a horse for an entire year, you will:

  • Receive a certificate of sponsorship with the horse’s picture
  • Receive a tax deductible donation receipt
  • Be recognized on the website, in the annual newsletter, and on the horse’s sign
  • Receive periodic updates regarding your horse
