providing a unique form of therapy and recreation through use of the horse

Yum Yum

Yum Yum was trained as a cutting horse.  She sustained an torn muscle from getting caught in the fence when she was a three year old.  She made what seemed to be a complete recovery, and despite her love of the show ring, she just couldn’t perform at top cuttings.  Since then, she has been a trail and pleasure horse, and she seems to really enjoy her new job as a therapy horse.  She has an outgoing personality and loves interacting and pleasing.  Her smooth trot is great for beginners.

Sponsor a Horse

Our special therapy horses work hard, always offering patience, strength, and understanding to our students without asking anything in return. They all receive the best care to ensure that they remain healthy, happy and comfortable. Between veterinary care, routine maintenance, hoof care, feed and supplements, the cost for one horse for one year exceeds $3,000. Please let us know if you are interested in sponsoring a horse for one year, or contributing to the cost of their care.

If you sponsor a horse for an entire year, you will:

  • Receive a certificate of sponsorship with the horse’s picture
  • Receive a tax deductible donation receipt
  • Be recognized on the website, in the annual newsletter, and on the horse’s sign
  • Receive periodic updates regarding your horse
